We are proud to honor Jill Urke as our December 2021 NSS Client of the Month!
What a pleasure it is to train Jill week after week. She is the picture of consistency and is quick to reschedule when her schedule doesn’t allow for her “normal” training days.
She has been involved in semi-private training, team training, and also has added bundle sessions to supplement her weekly workouts.
Jill made a huge turning point in her training at the end of 2020 into the beginning of 2021. When we asked her for some feedback on what direction she would like to see her workouts going we discovered that Jill likes to lift HEAVY…and so that’s what we did!
Heavy goblet squats, trap bar deadlifts, rows, dumbbell bench press, and floor press were combined with accessory work to create a well-rounded program. Later, we added some variety to the workouts with barbell bench press and barbell back squats. Jill walks into each workout with an open mind and a willingness to try new things.
On top of all the heavy lifting, Jill likes to get her heart pumping…sled pushes, assault bike, rower, and medicine ball have all been components of Jill’s workout. Also, we must mention she does all of this in 30 minutes!
Jill brings a positive attitude to each and every session even when she is not feeling 100%. She trusts the training process, which has allowed her to set personal records consistently throughout her cycles of training.
None of this would have been possible if Jill hadn’t provided the NSS coaches with AMAZING feedback on what her training goals and wishes were.
